Urigold was born in the early 1960s from the entrepreneurial intuition of Giuseppe Ummarino.
In 1976, Massimo Sozio joined the company alongside him, marking the beginning of a collaboration that was destined to leave its mark.
The company's origins lie in the ancient Borgo Orefici, a historic Neapolitan neighborhood renowned for its goldsmith craftsmanship, a cradle of tradition and craftsmanship.
Over time, the need to grow and broaden its horizons led Urigold to move its operations to modules 90 and 91 of the Il Tarì goldsmith center, recently inaugurated but already a symbol of excellence in the sector. It is here that Urigold continues to operate with passion and professionalism, offering collections that combine quality, elegance, and attention to design.
Urigold currently operates throughout Italy and in some foreign markets, offering a range of medium-to-high-end jewelry and goldsmithing that reflects the company's high quality standards. Collections like AURIA , an exclusive Urigold line, and established brands like 1AR by UNOAERRE —for which Urigold has been the exclusive retailer for Basilicata and Campania for over 15 years—represent our ongoing commitment to offering products that combine tradition and contemporary trends.
Today the company is led by Marcello Sozio , sole director, who resolutely carries forward the original vision, respecting the work and memory of Amedeo and Diego Ummarino, sons of the founders who passed away prematurely.
